I am truly hopeful General Knight's drive to embrace the problem of sexism in the Guard, saves even one person from Military Sexual Trauma (MST). The Vt. Guard advisory council's connection to HOPE Works & Interracial Processing Project are excellent strategies to external views. I hope my book will someday give light on the challenges of changing a culture. I still believe bold diversity actions can accelerate the needed change to #combatsexism. I loved my time in the Guard despite the ugly issues I attempted to fix. Be Proud and carry on the good work, I will be hopeful.
